For the Love of Art: An Appropriated Intentions Exhibition was an outdoor group exhibition at Fort George Hill in Upper Manhattan, near the Dyckman Street 1 train station. The exhibition transformed a chain-link fence into an open-air gallery, with artists creating large-scale works on repurposed advertising banners.

Organized during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project responded to the closure of museums and galleries by creating a public, socially distanced exhibition space for the surrounding community. The works were made on equal sections of heavy banner material and installed outdoors, allowing viewers to encounter the exhibition directly from the street.
