Born in the Dominican Republic, Wildriana María de Jesús Paulino is an interdisciplinary artist who recently received her BFA from The Cooper Union School of Art. As a student, she actively participated in multiple cultural programs across the city, including the Studio Museum and Kenkeleba House. In 2022, Wildriana participated in the NY Latin American Art Triennial and exhibited Maternity Figure- a life-size installation that results from her research on femicide (the normalized killing of women for being women)-. A 2022 recipient of the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Foundation Prize, Wildriana's collaborations include Women's Strike NYC and The Audubon Society.
