Decadencia is a sculptural work by Wildriana Paulino composed of repeated bronze female figures. The work reflects Paulino’s ongoing research into femicide in the Dominican Republic and the ways violence against women becomes normalized, repeated, and absorbed into public life.

Through seriality, scale, and material weight, the work transforms individual bodies into a collective memorial. Each figure becomes part of a larger accumulation, pointing to grief, repetition, and the social conditions that allow gendered violence to continue.
